From our online store, you can search for, purchase, and arrange in-house pick up or shipping for our entire in-stock inventory. Most parts can be available for immediate pick-up, or we offer convenient shipping options. Refund Policy
Please remember you are purchasing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) USED parts. Normal wear and tear from the previous use is expected. If you feel the item you received is in worse shape than you agreed to, please contact French Lake Auto Parts within seven (7) days of receipt of the Products. All claims, including claims for damage, defects and shortages or incorrect materials must be made in writing by Buyer within seven (7) days of receipt of the Products. French Lake Auto Parts must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect such Products to which any claim is made and reserves the right to replace any defective parts. All refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
French Lake Auto Parts will issue a refund on a part only if the following conditions are met
· The part bears the identifying mark which appears on all French Lake Auto Parts’ merchandise.
· The part has not been altered, modified, disassembled, overheated or damaged.
· The part has not been installed.
· The customer has their original invoice.
· The part is not a special order.
· The part is not a custom body cut.
· The part is returned within 7 days of the original purchase date.
· All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
The expense of returning parts to French Lake Auto Parts is the purchaser’s responsibility whether that is in person or via shipping systems.
All refunds will be in the form of the original payment. If the original payment is made in cash, a refund check will be issued. Payments made by check will be refunded no sooner than 10 business days from the date of the invoice.
· Refunds will NOT exceed the original purchase price.
· No refunds on deposits or payments. Parts with deposits will be returned to stock after 30 days.
Non-Refundable Items:
· Brokered/non-stocked parts ordered specifically for your request.
· Parts that were removed specifically for you which require extensive time or cutting to remove from a vehicle are non-refundable.
Core Returns
Core returns must be drained of all fluids, assembled and complete as they were sold to you with the original containers and must be in approved rebuildable condition. Cores must be returned within 30 days to qualify for full core refund.
90 Day Limited Warranty
Most parts sold by French Lake Auto Parts come with a 90-day limited warranty, beginning on the date of delivery of the part. This limited warranty covers defects in the purchased part that render it inoperable or defective within the 90-day warranty period. If a part arrives defective/damaged or becomes defective within this period, French Lake Auto Parts will either:
- Replace the part with a comparable part in French Lake Auto Parts’ inventory, if available, or
- Refund the original purchase price of the part.
Exclusions from Limited Warranty
- Convenience Items: Items attached to or included with the part, such as wiring, bulbs, sockets, sensors, coils, distributor caps, spark plugs, water pumps, filters, brake parts, backing plates, hoses, vacuum lines, u-joints, timing belts/components, or similar items, are considered convenience items and are not covered by this limited warranty.
- Seals and Gaskets: All seals and gaskets are the responsibility of the buyer and are not covered.
- Labor and Related Costs: This limited warranty does not cover labor, diagnostics, towing, rental car costs, or any other expenses related to the installation, testing, removal, or replacement of a part.
- Improper Installation or Use: Parts that are altered, disassembled, damaged during installation, or misused are not covered. For example, improper seating of a torque converter during transmission installation that results in a broken fluid pump voids the warranty.
